Privacy Notice   &  Cookies  Policy

Kevin Brown Music is committed to maintaining the trust and  confidence  of fans to our website. We do not sell, rent or trade email lists with any company for marketing purposes. We hate that sort of thing, so we just don’t do it to our visitors.

Here you’ll find information  on how we treat data that we collect from visitors to our website, or when someone subscribes to our newsletter or registers to our events.

Visitors to  Our  Website

When someone visits www.mykevinbrown.com  , we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information  and  details of visitor behaviour patterns.  The reason  we do this is to find out things such as how many people visit various parts of the website. This information  is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone.

We do not make, and  do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

If we need to collect personally identifiable information  throughout our website, we will always be upfront about it. We will  make it very clear when we collect this type  of information, and  we will  explain what we intend to do with it.

Newsletter  Signup

As part of the registration process for our regular newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information  for a couple of reasons: to tell you about Kevin Brown’s music and  events; to contact you if we need to obtain  or provide additional information; to check  our records are right. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and  businesses.

We use MailChimp to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and  clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and  improve our newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails, or by replying to the email and  asking us to remove you from our list.

Access  to  Your  Personal   Information

You are entitled to access the personal information  that we hold on you. Please email our mykevinbrown@gmail.com so we can help you.

Like most  websites, we  use Cookies on our website  to collect information. Cookies are small data files placed in your computer or device (like your phone or tablet) as you browse the website. They are used simply to “remember” when your browser or device accessed our website. They are essential for the effective operation of our websites and help you get the most  out of your visit (for example, by not showing you pop-ups that

you have seen before so we don’t crowd  your screen space unnecessarily).

Some cookies collect information  about browsing behaviour when you access this website  via the same device or browser. This includes information  about pages viewed and  your journey around a website. We do not use cookies to collect or record information  on your name, address or other contact details.
